Insurance

I pay taxes and am proud to contribute to the betterment of society and my community.

I do not believe in the privatization of insurances. All members of this great nation have the right to health and happiness regardless of race, creed, or physical and mental health. An insurance company does not reserve the right to deny another individual his or her health or happiness in order to bolster its profit margins.

As a privately owned institution, the insurance company should not exist. A company exists to profit. It is counter to reason to deny aid to the terminally suffering. Yet, insurance companies openly deny coverage to people who need it most. Why are insurance companies allowed to profit from an individual's good health?

If I am paying premiums, I expect my money to help an individual in a time of need, and not to contribute to someone's salary.
